Petrol Powered Boats: Those member who's boats have petrol engines should read this circular from the Boat Safety Scheme.
Tesco Moorings: Reading borough Council are planning changes to some of their mooring sites including the one outside Tesco. There is a consulation document on which you can put your comments. Please download it here and add your thoughts
The Swan Hotel: I'm pleased to report that The Swan is now open again with a permanant Landlord and Landlady, Bill & Norma. They welcome all club members especially those that were 'turned off' by the previous Landlord! The new members evening will now be held there on 10th April this year.
PLEASE NOTE: The landlord has asked me to let you know that they are now able to accept credit cards!
Winter Break: We had a very successful weekend break at Exmouth. The hotel was good, the weather was dry but VERY cold and I think most of the 116 people that were there had an enjoyable couple of days. The boat trip on Sunday morning was a great way to end the weekend. Thanks to Jill for all her hard work in organising it.
